EastMinCom Welcomes Visiting ADDU Pre-School Learners

NSFA, Panacan, Davao City – The AFP’s Eastern Mindanao Command under Lt. Gen. Rey Leonardo B. Guerrero gladly opened its doors when the Ateneo de Davao (ADDU) Pre-school, with at more or less three hundred (300) pupils together with faculty members visited the home the Eastern Mindanao Command through their 2-day field trip at Naval Station Felix Apolinario, Panacan, Davao City on February 18 to 19, 2016. The activity was part of ADDU’s intent to educate their pupils on community helpers; transportation; and common public places.



During the event, the faculty and pupils were toured around the camp which includes a tour inside the Philippine Navy’s ship that they delightedly enjoyed. Moreover, different military vehicles as well as humanitarian assistance disaster rehabilitation equipment were also displayed. The pupils were also given time to have a conversation and a photo opportunity with their Ate and Kuya soldiers.

With the theme “Soldiers: Your friend, your protector, our nation’s pride”, the activity also educated the pupils, who are part of the next generation, that the soldiers are peace makers; protector of the country and people; community workers; and their friends.
