BUTUAN CITY- the 4th Civil-Military Operations Battalion (4CMOBn), 4th Infantry (DIAMOND) Division, Philippine Army in partnership with the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP), Philippine Information Agency (PIA) Caraga and the Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster sa Pilipinas (KBP) Agusan del Norte- Butuan chapter is set to conduct a community outreach program with the theme: Panaghiusang Hugpong Alang sa Mahimsog nga Panglawas 2016” on September 2, 2016 in Barangay Dumalagan of this City.

The program intends to deliver basic medical and dental services, distribute free school supplies, feed and conduct a free haircut activity to the pupils of Mahayag and Consuelo Elementary Schools all of barangay Dumalagan.

Some six hundred (600) pupils are expected to benefit from the said activity.

Lieutenant Colonel Rey P Pasco, the commanding officer of 4CMOBn said that this activity is part of their peace and development efforts under the AFP’s campaign plan “Bayanihan” in which it has a people centered approach that focuses on the welfare of the communities.

He added that through the conduct this activity, they will be able to resolve some of the issues and concerns on health and improve the quality of education of the children in barangay Dumalagan. Lt.Col Pasco said.
