NSFA, Panacan, Davao City - The Eastern Mindanao Command laments the unfortunate incident that took place at a street market in Davao City yesterday evening.
We are extending our sympathy to those who were killed and praying for those who have been injured.
We want to inform everyone that we are in coordination with the different Law Enforcement Agencies to bring the situation to normalcy.
While we have yet to confirm the source of the explosion, this is the focus of the Investigation which the EMC is supporting.
We are appealing to our citizens to remain calm but alert and vigilant, and cooperate with our security forces and report any suspicious activity and baggage in your vicinity. Let us avoid circulating or passing unconfirmed reports to avoid panic and confusion.
