DICT donates towers to EMC

NSFA, Panacan, Davao City – The Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) Region XI through its Cluster Director Mr. Alimbazar P. Asum, donated two (2) Trylon Tower Rhombic Antennae which were formerly used during the heyday of the Continuous Wave (CW) Morse Code and High Frequency Transceiver Radios to the Eastern Mindanao Command (EMC).

The towers were donated to EasMinCom during the turn-over ceremony at Headquarters EMC in the afternoon of August 23, 2017.

The Antennae towers will be utilized to expand and improve the communication coverage particularly in Davao Gulf and in the Northern Part of EMC’s Area of Responsibility, and the inter-operability with other maritime Law Enforcement Agencies.
