EMC Ensures Gender-Fair Culture


NSFA, Panacan, Davao City - Eastern Mindanao Command, in its continuing effort to promote gender equality and contribute to the AFP's overall objective of attaining a gender-responsive organization, conducted Gender Awareness and Development Planning and Budgeting Seminar Workshop on September 11-12, 2017 at Headquarters Eastern Mindanao Command, Naval Station Felix Apolinario, Panacan, Davao City.

The activity was spearheaded by Brigadier General Jess G. Estoesta, the Assistant Deputy Chief of Staff for Personnel of the Armed Forces of the Philippines and Atty. Mylen Gonzales-Esquivel of the Philippine Commission on Women.

During the activity, participants were taught on how to integrate in the budgeting system of gender and development program activities that will facilitate a gender-fair culture in the military.
