Military pay increase a morale boosting

NSFA, Panacan, Davao City - Lt. General Benjamin Madrigal Jr., Commander of Eastern Mindanao Command welcomes the salary increase as troops morale boosting after President Rodrigo R. Duterte signed and approved the Joint Resolution increasing the salary of military and police.

"This is a big morale boost to our troops and our respective family. While soldiers don’t count the cost of serving the country and our people, this is a token of recognition of the dedication and services of our soldiers, some of whom have offered the supreme sacrifice, in defending the country against threats to national stability. "

"This will also surely boost not only their morale as public servants but their sense of dignity and honor as defenders of the country and its people as well."

"Not only will this added take-home pay enable them to provide more for their families’ needs, but this will also serve as a support to them in preparing for their future."

"We thank the President for this increase as this only affirms the national government’s commitment to recognize and support those who put their lives at stake for the country. Rest assured that this will further inspire us to do even more to serve our beloved nation."
