Sustaining the Organizational Transformation

NSFA, Panacan, Davao City - In an effort to sustain the initiative of transforming Eastern Mindanao Command (EMC) into a world-class organization, the EMC Transformation Institutionalization Pathway (EMCTRIP) was launched immediately after the Command was conferred the Institutionalized Status with Gold Trail Blazer Award on December 17, 2017.

On May 28, 2018, during the Monday Flag Raising Ceremony of the Command at Naval Station Felix Apolinario, Panacan, Davao City, Lt. General Benjamin R. Madrigal Jr., Commander of EMC conferred to the different offices of the Command the Initiated and Compliant Status - the first and second level of transformation in the EMCTRIP.

The said statuses were awarded after the offices undergone the EMCTRIP Revalida that was undertaken by the Governance Strategy Management Office (GSMO) of the Command during the first quarter of 2018.

The Office of the Deputy Commander led the group of the offices that were conferred the Initiated Status, followed by the Office of the Chief of the Unified Command Staff.

An Initiated Status was also conferred to the Office of the Assistant Chief of the Unified Command Staff (ACUCS) for Civil-Military Operations, the Command Provost Marshal, Office of the Command Adjutant, and the Command Public Information Office.

On the other hand, the following offices were also conferred the Compliant Status:

1. ACUCS for Logistics, U4
2. ACUCS for Communications, Electronics, and Information Systems, U6
3. Office of the Command Inspector General
4. ACUCS for Plans, U5
5. ACUCS for Personnel, U1
6. ACUCS for Operations, U3
7. Command Judge Advocate General Office
8. ACUCS for Joint Trainings, U8
9. ACUCS for Intelligence, U2
10. Management & Fiscal Office
