
DIGOS CITY, Davao del Sur - A total of 14 former rebels received financial assistance from the Provincial Local Government Unit (PLGU) and Provincial Social Welfare and Development (PSWD) as part of the Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program Assistance (E-CLIP) on September 14, 2020 at the Provincial Coliseum, Brgy. Matti, Digos City, Davao del Sur.
Each of the former rebels received Cash Assistance amounting to P10,000.00.
The cash assistance were formally handed over by Vice Governor Marc Cagas IV of Davao del Sur, Mika Tan Magtulis, OIC PD, DILG, Geraldine S. Lano, PD, PSWDO, Lenevic M. Poresores, E-CLIP Focal Person of PSWDO Davao del Sur, LTC GEOFFREY M CARANDANG INF (GSC) PA, Commander, 39th Infantry Battalion, Philippine Atmy, and PLTCOL ROWEN R PORNOBE, Chief, POMU, DSPPO.

“Nagpasalamat ko sa gobyerno sa tabang na gihatag sa amoa, dako ug tabang ang among nadawat na kwarta para sa amoang kinabuhi, nanghangyo ako sa akoang kauban na naa pa diha sa sulod na mosurrender namo kay naa diri ang tinood na gobyerno,” alias Apple said who is one of the recepients.

The recipients were further subjected to detailed profiling in order to process additional assistance for their family especially to their children.
