25IB People's Organization, pioneers Mushroom Production in Davao de Oro Town

MONTEVISTA, Davao de Oro - Tapia Unified Farmers Association (TUFA), a newly-organized People's Organization by the Community Development Teams (CDTs) of 25th Infantry Battalion introduces mushroom production as a "fast-generating" livelihood in Montevista, Davao de Oro today, September 25, 2020. 

This organization prepared for their 3-day Mushroom Production Orientation and Training with the Municipal Agriculturist Office, DTI, and the CDTs of 25IB.

On the third day, members of the organization dedicated to pioneering this livelihood, being the first organization in the town of Montevista to innovate such.

With the available resources in their area and the dedication of the farmers to learn and sustain the said livelihood, they can independently continue to work together for the whole organization to earn and generate income for their everyday lives.

A very significant factor to establish an independent organization is to introduce the right livelihood, with the available resources to the right people.
