Said FRs on the otherhand expressed their commitment to peace and their support to the NTF-ELCAC under EO 70 that envisions ending the Insurgency problem in our country.
Three of the former rebels (FRs) casted out their emotions and displeasure during their testimonies while relating their sad experiences under the communist-NPA-terrorists.
“Ginamit lang nila kami, mga yawa silang mga NPA,” alias Gomer said.
Mr. Ednar Dayanghirang who graced the activity emphasized the province’s program of sustainable peace for the former rebel.
“Gusto namo sa gobyerno ang malahutayong kalinaw alang sa inyong pagpuyo," he said.
“Ginamit lang nila kami, mga yawa silang mga NPA,” alias Gomer said.

Meanwhile, the 701st Infantry Brigade under the leadership of Col Krishnamurti A Mortela boosted the morale of FRs by extending the hands of the Army to guide them in their undertakings.
“Nandito lang po ang inyong Army na handang umalalay sa inyo," Col Mortela added.
