Mass supporters in Davao del Sur denounce CPP, NPA, NDF Terrorist Group

MAKILALA, Cotabato – A total of 148 individuals, Former Mass Supporter of CPP, NPA, NDF from Barangays Colonsabak, Asbang, Bangkal, Cabasagan, Kapoc, Asinan, Savoy, Dongan Pekong and Saub successfully completed the 3-day of Peace Building Seminar last September 22-24, 2020 conducted by the 39th Infantry Battalion in partnership with the Municipal Local Government of Matanao Davao del Sur.

The Community Support Program Peace Building Seminar themed “Panday Kalinaw” (Cultivate the Peace) seeks to Deradicalize the members of underground mass organizations, from anti-government individuals to pro-government organizations and provide them with livelihood programs,reintroduce government services, bridge the gap between local governments and far-flung communities through the Community Support Program of the AFP.

“Walay pagduha-duha Seryoso na kini, tinod-anay na kini, kinasing-kasing nga pagsuporta sa atoang Gobyerno nga ibagsak, palayason ug undangon na ang pagsuporta sa mga CPP-NPA-NDF,” said Lolito Soliman, a former CPP-NPA-NDF supporter. 

The event was spearheaded by Municipal Mayor Hon. Vincent F Fernandez with the full support of Vice Governor Marc Douglas C. Cagas IV and COL POTENCIANO C CAMBA INF (GSC) PA, Commander 1002nd Infantry Brigade.
