PLGU AgNor, Army Tandems in Halfway House Inauguration

BUTUAN CITY - The Enhanced-Comprehensive Local Integration Program (E-CLIP) Committee of Agusan del Norte finally launched the newly built Agusan de Norte Halfway House for the Former Rebels (FRs) and Milisya ng Bayan (MBs) on September 23, 2020 at the Headquarters, 402nd Infantry (Stingers) Brigade, Brgy. Bancasi, Butuan City.

The inauguration of said Halfway House was facilitated by Governor Dale B. Corvera of Agusan del Norte, 2nd District Representative Ma. Angelica Rosedell M. Amante-Matba, BGEN MAURITO L LICUDINE, Commander, 402Bde, Ms. Silver Joy B. Tejano, DM, Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office, Ms. Ellen Vee Chua, Provincial Director-Department of Interior and Local Government, ADN, and TESDA Provincial Director Rey M. Cueva.

It was also attended by Hon. Elizabeth Marie R. Calo, SB Member, ADN, LTC JULIUS CESAR C PAULO, Acting Commanding Officer, 23IB, Philippine National Police and other line government agencies.

The said Halfway House will serve as the temporary shelter of the FRs and MBs and they will be in-housed thereat while processing their documents to avail the benefits offered by the government under the E-CLIP prior reintegration to the mainstream society.
