
The launching was attended by LTC ALEXANDER BANATAO, Battalion Commander of 28th Infantry Battalion and LTC ENRIQUE RAFAEL, Executive Officer of 701st Infantry Brigadetogether with different stakeholders from DA, MAO-Lupon, PLGU, and PAGRO.
During the rationale, Mr. Jan Mark Amahit, Science Research Specialist of Department of Agriculture Region XI emphasized that the Philippine Army is very instrumental in pursuing and making the project possible.

Mr. Dondon Linsag gave message in behalf of Governor Dayanghirang mentioning the Four Priority Programs of the PLGU: Agriculture, Tourism, Health, and Infrastructure.
During his speech, LTC Banatao said that the activity is a manifestation of the convergence of efforts of the government to reach out far-flung communities to bring projects and programs of the government.
He mentioned that the project will soon become the model of mushroom production in Maragatas and even the entire Municipality of Lupon and this will be supported by the Philippine Army and LGU.

He also encouraged everyone to focus on nurturing family and doing livelihood for progress and stop listening on NPA's propaganda that has no other objectives but to destroy peace and progress.
Mr Rotchie Ravelo, PAGRO Davao Oriental challenged the members of the PO to work hard for the success of Mushroom Production. PARGO also distributed 110 fruit bearing trees to the members of the PO.
In behalf of the Brigade Commander, LTC RAFAEL delivered message thanking the partner agencies and the LGU for always supporting the Philippine Army in every programs and activities in Davao Oriental.

He said that the Peace and Order Situation is one of the reasons of the influx of projects in the area.
"Everyone should cooperate for the success of the project, and most importantly, the peace and order should be maintained for development of the community," he said.
Mr Jesriel Hemado, President of LFA is very grateful to receive the project and pledged to do all they can to make it successful.
He also said that the project will be a big help for their daily financial needs.
