
The dispersal was spearheaded by the Office of the Veterinarian (OPVet) thru Dr. Belinda A Gornez, Veterinarian III under the "Masaganang Cotabato: Animal Dispersal Program of the Province of Cotabato."

Prior to the distribution, a simple hand-over programme was graced by Hon. Rogelio Maranion, Municipal Vice Mayor and other representatives from OPVet, OMAG and the Office of the Governor and subsequently followed by a brief and simple orientation on the proper handling and care of said livestocks given to the beneficiaries.
The program of OPVet Cotabato was in line with EO 70, the Whole of Nation Approach to end local communist armed conflict focusing on the priority barangays.

Moreover, it aims to improve the living conditions of the populace that were previously influenced and were organized as UGMOs by the Communist Terrorist Groups in providing livelihood projects to the residents.
