25IB's People's Organizations received P50,000 Livelihood Assistance in DDN Town

NEW CORELLA, Davao del Norte - Five (5) People's Organizations in the three barangays of New Corella organized by the Community Development Teams (CDTs) of 25th Infantry Battalion received P50,000 livelihood assistance through the program of Hon. Jorjan P. Federiso, Municipal Mayor, the Poverty Alleviation and Development in Rural Economy (PADRE) which supports People's Organizations in the whole municipality.

Five POs namely: Bundok Kasilak Hito-an Farmers Association (BUNKAHIFA) and Bundok San Roque Tilapyahan Farmers Association (BUNSATIFA) in Barangay New Cortez; Tubod Suawon Mushroom Farmers Association (TUSUMUFA) and Mahayahay Farmers Association (MAFA) in Barangay Suawon and Barangay San Jose Small Farmers Association (BASASFA) in Brgy San Jose, all of New Corella are the recipients of the livelihood assistance.

Through the PADRE program of Mayor Federiso, the said People's Organizations can now use the money to sustain and to buy necessary materials to improve their livelihood. The CDTs will also continue to assist and sustain the gains of the People's Organizations with the constant support of the Local Government Unit of New Corella.
