AFP, PNP strengthen security measures to resolve insurgency

CLAVERIA, Misamis Oriental - The 58th Infantry “Dimalulupig” Battalion participated in the Provincial Joint Peace Security Coordinating Council (JPSCC) Meeting held at Misamis Oriental Provincial Police Office, San Martin, Villanueva, Misamis Oriental yesterday, October 30, 2020.

The major agenda discussed was the threat situation in the province, current operations, and results of AFP-PNP internal security operations.

They also discussed the security preparations and preventive actions to deter the CPP-NPA plan from penetrating the area.

The purpose of said meeting is to strengthen the AFP-PNP joint efforts and cooperation mechanism to effectively sustain pressure against the communist terrorist groups that pose threat to the peace-loving people of Misamis Oriental.
