Operation Blessing Relief Distribution and Clean-up Drive to IDP Centers at Luna Norte and Old Bulatukan, Cotabato



MAKILALA, Cotabato – 39th Infantry Battalion facilitated the Operation Blessing of CBN Asia in giving relief goods to the residents of IDP Centers located at Luna Norte and Old Bulatukan, Makilala, Cotabato. At the same time, the Youth For Peace Movement TALBOS – Makilala Chapter conducted Clean-up drive to the mentioned IDP Centers today November 16, 2020.

The relief distribution of Operation Blessing to the mentioned IDP Centers served as a follow-up aid to around 420 recipients who were devastated during the series of earthquakes that occurred in Cotabato from October to December last year. In line with the spirit of volunteerism, the Youth For Peace Movement – TALBOS Makilala Chapter responded to the call and conducted a clean-up drive, and assisted in the relief distribution to the IDP Centers of Luna Norte and Old Bulatukan, Cotabato.

The collaboration between private sectors and government agencies is a clear manifestation of the Whole of Nation Approach in addressing the problems of our society. This clearly shows that our Government is always ready to work with all sectors of our society to address the issues and problems that our country is facing.
