ROW TROOPERS, TESDA WANGAN Offers Skills Training Program

- Agri-Crops of TESDA WANGAN, headed by Joel Atablanco, Regional PRLEC Focal Person, in partnership with ROW Troopers led by 1Lt Christopher Lan M Dela Cruz- 3IB CMO Officer and 2Lt Skinny D Dellomes- Assistant CMO Officer under the overall supervision of Ltc Juvenal Mark T. Tayamen INF (GSC) PA, 3IB, 7ID, PA Commanding Officer, launched skills training on Animal Production (Poultry) to Licuyan Highlanders Farmers Association headed by Datu Samuel Pandian at Tambobong, Baguio District, Davao City on November 16, 2020.

Licuyan Highlanders Farmers Association is one of the beneficiaries of the TESDA program organized by the 3rd Infantry "Regardless of What" Battalion.

The beneficiaries will also receive the following assistance: free training and competency assessment, starter toolkits, training allowance of one-hundred sixty pesos (P160) per day, five hundred (P500) for internet allowance, and another five hundred (P500) for personal protective equipment for the duration of the training.

The skills training program is an intervention given to the cleared priority barangays under the Community Support Program (CSP) to provide skills and training opportunities for the beneficiaries to make them employable and productive in this new normal.

To a great extent, ROW troopers will continuously assist and facilitate the services and projects of government in the remote areas in need of immediate assistance to address and to end the perennial insurgency in the country.

Ltc Tayamen emphasized the significance of acquiring skills as well as the opportunity to access education regardless of social status, despite what is happening nowadays.

He conveyed, "May your learnings from this skills training program will not just for yourselves but also for the improvement of your lives and the future generations. Rest assured that the ROW Troopers will always ready to extend our arms to you, and to our fellow countrymen, for you to fully actualize your full potential in the world of work. We are here to do the best we can and facilitate what is need to be done in collaboration with the different lines of government agencies."
