
The suspect was identified as certain Erl Cesar Pitogo Camiso, 19 years old and a resident of Nabunturan, Davao De Oro.
Intercepted from his possession were five jumbo size and one small heat-sealed plastic transparent sachets of suspected "methamphetamine hydrochloride" or commonly known as "shabu" with an estimated weight of 255 grams and an estimated street value of Php 4,080,000.00.
The apprehended person was on board a Toyota Vios, color maroon, with Plate Number NBU 3017 traveling from Cotabato City to Nabunturan, Davao de Oro when he attempted to hurdle the checkpoint which prompted the TF Davao personnel for thorough inspection at the inspection area for private vehicles.
For this year, in support to the anti-illegal drugs campaign, TF Davao's recapitulation of the apprehended illegal drugs at checkpoints already amounted to Php 14,065,000.00 involving 77 individuals.
These accomplishments show the patience and determination of the personnel of TF Davao. These were professionally performed with zero fatality (all suspects are alive) and no allegation of Human Rights Violation.
The mayor of Davao City, Sara Duterte- Carpio expressed her appreciation and congratulation to the troops via viber to Commander Task Force Davao.
"I congratulate our troops for a job well done. We will not lower our guards despite our task to scan DQR, deny entry of non-essential travelers and Locally Stranded Individuals (LSIs) in support to Davao City’s Task Force Covid. I also admire the professionalism of TF Davao personnel for apprehending 77 persons for this year with zero fatality and no human rights violation," Col Yecla said.
